President Donald Trump signed a full pardon for Silk Highway founder Ross Ulbricht, who has spent the previous 12 years in jail.
President Trump wrote in a publish on his Reality Social platform:
“I simply referred to as Ross’s mom, William Ulbricht, to honor the Libertarian motion that has so strongly supported her and me, and to have the ability to signal a full and unconditional pardon for her son Ross. I informed them how blissful I used to be.”
President Trump added that it was “ridiculous” that Ulbricht was sentenced to 2 life sentences and 40 years in jail.

When that did not occur on the primary day, some Bitcoiners expressed their displeasure, stating that he was not a “man of his phrase.” Sen. Rand Paul even despatched a letter to President Trump asking for a pardon for Ulbricht hours earlier than the president introduced the pardon.
