FTX Seeks to Gather $700 Million from Bankman-Fried Mates and Related Funds

FTX has filed a lawsuit in Delaware chapter court docket towards a number of the funding corporations with which it had ties previous to its chapter. The lawsuit, filed June 22, consists of 16 counts and seeks greater than $700 million towards the defendants.

The lawsuit names incubator and funding agency K5 World, Mount Olympus Capital, SGN Albany Capital, and associates and co-owners of K5 World, Michael Kives and Bryan Baum, as defendants. Kaibus is former CAA expertise company agent and former aide to Hillary Clinton. The grievance alleges that FTX’s then-CEO Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) attended a social occasion hosted by Kybs in 2022.
