Optimism Launches RetroFunding 5, Providing 8 Million OP

Optimism has introduced that it’s now accepting purposes for Spherical 5 of Retroactive Public Items Funding (Retro Funding).

Based on the platform's announcement on August 23, Optimism (OP) contributors have till September fifth at 19:00 UTC to submit their purposes.

Eligible initiatives will get a share of the 8 million OPs that might be offered to Ethereum core builders, the OP Stack analysis and growth workforce, and OP Stack instrument builders within the new spherical.

Watanabe can be CEO of Startale, the platform behind the Astar zkEVM and which is planning a migration to Soneium's L2 community.
