Over the previous few weeks, a bunch of scammers have hijacked a minimum of eight Twitter accounts belonging to distinguished figures within the cryptocurrency trade to facilitate phishing scams. In line with blockchain detective ZachXBT, the group has stolen about $1 million price of cryptocurrency thus far.

In a June ninth Twitter thread, ZachXBT outlined that it had found a number of wallets “linked in a series” associated to a phishing rip-off facilitated by a just lately hacked account.
