US Division of Homeland Safety Recovers $314,000 from 2016 Bitfinex Hack

In response to the July 6 announcement, cryptocurrency change Bitfinex To inform $312,219.71 in money and 6.917 inches (BCHMore) from the U.S. Division of Homeland Safety. The seizure was carried out in cooperation with US Customs and Border Safety. In response to Bitfinex workers:

This asset shall be returned to victims of the 2016 Bitfinex hack every day. Shortly after the safety breach, Bitfinex issued Restoration Proper Tokens (RRTs) with a face worth of $1. There are at present 30 million RRTs in circulation. After redeeming the RRT with the recovered belongings, the remainder shall be paid to token holders of Unus Sed Leo (Leo), the native token of Bitfinex.
