The U.S. Legal professional for the Southern District of New York and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have introduced fraud prices in opposition to the previous CEO of bankrupt cryptocurrency monetary agency Celsius. Alex Mashinski.
In a July 13 announcement, the U.S. Division of Justice mentioned: Stated The company has charged Mr. Mashinsky with securities fraud, commodity fraud and wire fraud, alleging that he deceived prospects and accused the platform of “the character of the success, profitability and investments” made by the platform with person funds. It was suspected that he had misunderstood. However officers mentioned that they had reached a “settlement to not prosecute” with Celsius, which “agreed to just accept legal responsibility for its position within the fraud scheme.”
